Global Warming Series tells stories about four friends, Gajah (Elephant), Tapir, Badak (Rhino), and Banteng (Buffalo). They are students at elementary school. With the help of Paman Orang Utan (Uncle Orang Utan), Pak Rusa (Mr. Deer), and Ibu Cendrawasih (Ms. Cendrawasih), they learn about global warming and ways to reduce and prevent the effect of global warming.
In Lets Plant Trees, Tapir, Badak, Banteng, and Gajah went sightseeing to the forest with Paman Orang Utan. While exploring, they met illegal woodcutters denuding the forest. Paman Orang Utan explained that what these woodcutters are doing could cause global warming. After they went back home, these four friends were determined to prevent global warming by planting trees in their yards.
